A handmade doll carries a digital download card with a 16 song collection, wonderfully known as Unitard Galaxy. One for our catalog of curiousities, not only because Poppet made every one of these herself, but because Poppet makes some of the most wonderfully unique music around. Loosely she can be put under the banner of ‘synth pop’, but its range extends from ethereal Bjork-esque ambience to demented children’s songs, with most songs giving a nod to her classical training, experimental leanings, and rhythmic prowess. In my mind: this is the next big thing.
