Slow to Build
music /

Awesomely heavy punk, in a very Northwest way. It reminds me a lot of the pre-grunge late 80’s/early 90’s Seattle scene, where a ton of different influences were put into one to create something great and not easy to put in a box. Hand-screened covers. Plus you get a drawing of the band riding a musk ox on the flipside of the lyric sheet.

Self-Titled LP
music /

8 tracks from Seattle queer punk champions. Totally awesome. Hand-screened covers. “Delivering brain-twisting angry analysis that will make you sing along til your throat rips and spittle flies from your lips, in awe that someone whittled these experiences of life on earth down to a smart lyric you can scream with your friends. Yes we are numerous. Yes we are powerful.” -RTR

Skrill Meadow
Hard Water
music /

Imagine lo-fi experimental music, 90’s r&b, and 70’s slow rock going on a date together. Skrill Meadow’s Hard Water album would be the recording of that date. You know how that Emoto guy freezes water molecules while exposing them to various emotions? This tape is like that. Don’t know about the frozen emotion guy? Skrill Meadow is the project of Markly Morrison from LAKE and Lazer Zepplin, with an all-star cast of friends helping out. It’s noisy, beautiful, and oddly sexy. These 12 tracks will kind of make your jaw drop. Contains the hit single “Takin’ My Time”, which makes me believe that Skrill Meadow is potentially pop genius.
