French Quarter has been making smart indie pop music out of Phoenix, Az for years now, gaining a fan base the world over with each album. This newest release, though, leaves all previous album (despite their greatness) in the dust. It is addicting pop music played by extremely competent musicians who know how to make it fun and interesting without ever being over the top. Recorded by the ever-amazing Bob Schwenkler at Olympia’s legendary Dub Narcotic Studios, this album sounds so good. Released on Seattle’s Off Tempo label, the LP comes with a free digital download.
