Put simply: this is the Jordan O’ Jordan masterpiece we have all been waiting for. His remarkable power of appealing to most everybody is at it’s full glory here- big layers of vocal harmonies mix with stripped down banjo songs, reinterpretations of Appalachian folk tales, snaps, foot stomps, drum machine barber shop numbers, and even a hazed out shoegaze song in the form of a traditional (?!). It’s 14 songs cover a lot of ground, while seeming to create a curious yarn that will keep you coming back (much like the thought of the palindromic album title). The album is also hand sewn by the man himself and comes with two perforated postcards!
